Johnny please join us sir for a little question and answer segment...

I did not realize you were in fact the REAL guy.....You mind doing a little interview in this thread with the good people here Johnnny?

Perhaps you could shed some light on how your handicapping business isn`t so bad....

Guys like Jack Price and Stu Feiner, your contemporaries, could they just have been given a raw deal? I mean 80%+ winning pcts??? Now we all know that is impossible, why do they flat out lie about this stuff? Are any of you guys trying to come clean these days?

Where do I begin, you guys come on these Sunday morning shows, hair slicked back with your wanna be mafia demeanor...I mean come on, its over the top from the get go!! What about the guys that belive you guys can indeed hit plays at an alarming rate Johnny?
I gotta admit I would like to punch a hole right through Stu Feiers ugly melon, he has to be the all time most annoying Scamdicapper Johnny lol ....

Stu "Everybody Wins! Everybody Wins! Everybody Wins" That guy is just plain evil lol!

Johnny D,
I'd like to hear about the IRS dealings (if that's not too personal).

I guess he`s not up for it? I can`t say I blame him either...I would have carved him up questioning his tactics, and fraudulent claims...His boasting on the score phones etc...They may not be killers but I put them a step above crack dealers...I would have given him every chance to explain his side and give some good reason why is people are okay guys...

Come on Johnny, you have to understand this isn`t the most welcome place for a first class scamdicapper?

Good Luck all the same

Thanks for attending, JD.

My questions are very simple... do you give out both sides of the same game?

Are you related in any way to Jack Prize?

If som why have you guys recurred to cold calling players?

Thanks for your answers.

Lets start from the top or should I say the beginning...Can you give us the real low down on your business?
As you probably realize you will probably get raked over pretty good in this Q&A but it will be a good read...Just chime in from time to time...All joking aside, just try and help us understand why you think the profession of scamdicapper is a valid way to make a living...I will refer to it as scamdicapper because that is the general term for ths kind of tout (the kind that claim to go 85% lifetime)

Are you still hawking your pics these days? Why do you guys completely lie about records , connections etc? Give us something we can take and say "well maybe these guys are not so bad" You gotta admit though, you guys deserve the label?

Just play along and have some fun with it John!!??

Thanks for attending, JD.

My questions are very simple... do you give out both sides of the same game? (No-never have- never will-I know some guys do-plus you'd get caught real quick if you have a lot of callers)

Are you related in any way to Jack Prize? (Jack and I go back to 1987. I used to sell games for him.In 1989 I moved to Atlanta. He and I do a few ads together)

If som why have you guys recurred to cold calling players? (I don't call anyone. Jack Price does and is very successful with it. When MCI went bankrupt it ripped the 900 business apart-Jack Price shifted on the fly like he is very good at doing-he calls every number in the US. I just do the 900 numbers. The business isn't what it used to be.)

As far as lying about records. From an economic standpoint only-if you said you lost no one would call. Especially on the 900 side-you could win 10 in a row, lose one and they forget about you.
Also, I give out usually one big game a day. You always have to have a big game. You cannot pass in the 900 business. Every single player I talk to on the customer service side wants more than one game. If I give them more than one game several things happen. #1 the chances of them winning are greatly reduced and #2 and more important-they will not call back. #3 by giving out one big game a day your chances of a winning streak are much greater.
I never say I have connections anymore. In the early 90's maybe. Now its all about numbers. People feed off big numbers-dollars won- winning percentages etc.
Understand this, in this job there is zero long term success. If a guy plays everyday he is going down at some point. It's just a matter of when.

Jack Price is the lowest of all the scamdicappers...cold calling!!?? Jesus , what will it take for this guy to do something legitimate? Who in their right mind would buy anything form him?

I use to chuckle when Jack would be on location outside his big game of the day....He`d have some phoney scenery in the background as if he was right outside Joe Robbie or The Murph...Or he`d be in front of some fancy sportscar...Does Jack Price own a part of a sportsbook? I did hear this ? Oasis maybe?

I`m sure back in the early mid 90`s the revenue was staggering...Were you ever concerned about Big Brother coming down on you?

The scorephone back then was brilliant, up to the minute, before the internet, it was the sh1t! I use to hate to have to wait for those lengthy messages though lol!

What would you say were some of the elite scamdicappers pulling in Johnny , back then?

Are any in prison because of this, if so who?

Johnny D,
Could you talk about the IRS troubles? the process? fines? etc.

Most of America fears what you went through.

Thanks.

Lander, After Sportsbank allegedly ratted on JD his "bank account was emptied", so the IRS might have got shut out because of that deal by their neighbors the FBI.

BTW JD, there's no record of that Sportsbank induced pinch. Did the feds actually bust you and abscond with your entire bank account without arresting you?

Interesting thread, thanks

"I appreciate the 'candidness'"

I believe the word you're looking for is 'candor'.

Jack Price has nothing to do with any sports book and definitely not Oasis.

In the early 90's I'm sure that some guys were hauling in millions with the 900 business

I know Jack Price gets a bad rap but i have heard and seen him cry his eyes out when one of his big games loses. He tries his ass off to win. You have to see it this way, he spends a fortune advertising his plays-so if he loads up thousands of people on the very same game and it loses his losses are huge. He bets all the same games he releases too.

Minnow,
No comment on the Sportsbank stuff, that is history.

Lander,
I cheated on my taxes-didn't declare cash-didn't declare income-lavish spending-plus when you have enemies- it all added up to a huge audit and presto I went down. All I can say is that if you are in the gaming business you are an easy target for the IRS. You don't use guns like the druggies and all records are pretty much accessible.
